About us

The Infocentre WW2 Nijmegen is a historic, touristic and educational information point, providing visitors of the Nijmegen area the best possible introduction to the stories, historical heritage, events and museums which the region has to offer regarding the Second World War.

The general management of the Infocentre WW2 is in the hands of Wiel Lenders, also a historian and managing director of the Freedom Museum in Groesbeek. The rest of the team consists of Maria Tadema (coordinator Infocentre WW2), Nadia Boujida (coordinator group reservations), Monique van Uden (group reservations employee) and Rense Havinga (historian & curator). Additionally, 30 volunteers actively aid the Infocentre. Human Resources Coordinator is Fred Theuns. Confidential adviser is Karen van Gelder.
